In this workshop, we’ll explore how to create visual patterns using Kronecker powers on square matrices. Participants will create unique designs using plastic beads. We’ll also discuss pedagogical strategies to encourage participants to pose and explore original problems about designs created using this method. We will share Python code that will allow for participants to further explore these patterns.
