Abstract

The architect Antonio Gaudí created visionary imagery from often profoundly mathematical forms. A sculpture in the garden of his home in Parc Guell, Barcelona, embeds the Platonic solids and uses these to represent the heavens in the same cosmographic spirit as that of Johannes Kepler in his Harmonices Mundi.
